Join us at our upcoming Employer Information Event to help inform businesses about the Universal Credit full service which is being rolled out in the Wirral area on 15th November 2017.
Universal Credit is a new single monthly payment for people who are on a low income or out of work. It brings together a range of current benefits and tax credits.

• 8:30am – 9:30am – Overview of Universal Credit and the benefits / Impacts for Employers
• 9:30am – 10:00am – Q&A session
The event will offer attendees the opportunity to have a one -2 – one session with Jobcentre Plus Account Managers for personalised service overview and future planning.
With changes likely to affect the majority of employers in Wirral, the event will be particularly useful to members of the Construction, Hospitality, Retail, Care, Administration, Call Centre and Production sectors.
The meeting will provide you with an opportunity to learn about the Universal Credit full service, as well as offering you the chance to raise any questions.
Universal Credit will increase the financial incentives of work and provide employers like you with a more flexible workforce; Universal Credit is about income, not hours and ends the 16 hours rule so staff can increase their hours and no longer worry about losing their benefits.
The Universal Credit full service will be available to all claimant types that are in and out of work such as, families, single parents, carers and those with certain health conditions.
