It has always been their dream to open a vintage themed tea rooms and they felt that operating within an Antiques Centre was the ideal place for them. Coincidently, at the same time as they began to seriously look at opportunities, owner of Amorini Antiques Centre (the only Antiques Centre on the Wirral), Carole McWilliams, advertised that she was looking for a tenant to open a tearoom within the Centre.
Commenting, Sally said “It’s been a dream of ours to open a tearoom, and we’re so excited to be part of Amorini Antiques Centre where our style really fits in. We’re able to showcase our home made food in vintage splendour.”
Commenting, Carole McWilliams, owner of Amorini Antiques Centre said: ‘With 10 rooms stuffed with antiques and collectables it can take 1-2 hours to have a good mooch around the Centre and many of our customers had said they’d like us to provide drinks and snacks as well.” She added: “Sally and Cath have done a fantastic job in transforming our former cabinet room into a lovely vintage style area which fits in so well with the rest of the Centre. As well as the normal daily service, they will also be catering for parties and groups.’
The Ain’t That Swell Vintage Tearooms are open from 10.30am-4.30pm Monday to Saturday, including Bank Holidays.
